Six things we write well

Every service is available in French or English and written by a person who has read your brief twice. No templates, no AI drafts passed off as finished copy.

  1. Brand Voice & MessagingVoice guide · key messages · taglines

Before we write a single headline, we pin down how you sound: the words you use, the ones you avoid, and the three things every customer should remember. You get a one-page voice guide your whole team can actually follow.

  2. Website & Landing Page CopyUp to 5 pages · FR or EN · SEO-ready

Home, about, service and landing pages written around what visitors need to decide, in the order they need it. Every page ships with headlines, calls to action and meta descriptions ready to paste.

  3. SEO Articles & Blog Content600–2,000 words · keyword brief included

Researched articles that answer real search questions, for French and international audiences. We brief from keyword data, write like a person, and structure every piece so Google and readers both get through it.

  5. Ad & Social Media CopyAd variants · captions · hooks

Short-form copy for Meta, Google and LinkedIn ads, plus captions for the feed. We write several angles per brief so you can test, not guess, and we keep within every platform's character limits.

  6. French ⇄ English TranscreationFR → EN · EN → FR · native review

Translation keeps the words; transcreation keeps the effect. We adapt your French copy for English-speaking markets and your English copy for France, with the idioms, tone and legal mentions each audience expects.

From brief to final draft

What happens after you get in touch, and roughly how long each step takes.

  1. Team discussing a brief in a meeting

    Step 1: Brief call

A 30-minute call, in French or English, about your audience, your offer and what success looks like. We send a short written brief afterwards so nothing is lost.

    Day 1
  2. Hands writing an outline in a notebook

    Step 2: Voice & outline

We agree on the tone and the structure before writing full drafts: page outlines, headline directions and the key messages each page must carry.

    1–2 working days
  3. Black and white close-up of a hand writing in a notebook

    Step 3: First drafts

Full drafts land in a shared Google Doc, with comments explaining why we made the bigger choices. You read, mark up and reply in the same place.

    3–7 working days
  4. Top view of a team reviewing documents with laptops

    Step 4: Revisions & hand-off

Up to five rounds of changes per project, then final files delivered ready to paste into your website, email tool or ad manager.

    Final approval in writing

7-day satisfaction guarantee. Not happy? We rework it.

Tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll revise the copy. If it still isn't right, you may qualify for a partial refund based on the work completed, as described in our Refund Policy.

Sharpedge vs. a freelance marketplace

Marketplaces are fine for a one-off. When the copy has to sell, here's what changes.

With Sharpedgecontent

  • A writer who interviews you before writing
  • Copy written natively in French or English
  • Delivery dates fixed in the order confirmation
  • Up to 5 revision rounds, written into the terms
  • Fixed prices in euros, VAT shown before you pay
  • A 7-day satisfaction window on every delivery

Typical marketplace freelancer

  • A brief filled in once and never discussed
  • Machine translation polished at the end, if at all
  • Deadlines that slip with the freelancer's other clients
  • One revision, then everything is extra
  • Hourly rates and surprise add-ons
  • Disputes handled through a marketplace ticket

Before you ask

Anything else, write to team@sharpedgecontent.com.

Every package and single order has a fixed price in euros, listed on our pricing page. Bigger or ongoing projects get a written quote after a short call; you can see all the work we take on on the services page.

Single orders usually arrive within 2 to 5 working days. Packages take 5, 7 or 10 working days, and the exact date is confirmed in writing when you order.

Up to 5 rounds of changes are included per project. You comment directly in the shared document, and we mark the project finished only once you approve the final version in writing.

Your website or product links, who you're selling to, and any brand material you already have. If you have none of that, the brief call covers it and we take the notes.

Yes. Our writers work natively in French and English, and we can adapt copy between the two instead of translating it word for word.

Payment is due when you accept the proposal or place an order. We accept card payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Every delivery comes with a 7-day satisfaction window. Tell us within 7 days and we'll rework the copy, or offer a partial refund depending on the work done, as set out in our Refund Policy.

Writer's desk with notebook and coffee

A copywriting studio on the Loire

Sharpedgecontent is a small studio in Gien, the faïence town an hour and a half south of Paris, writing for businesses that want to be understood the first time.

Bastien Chasset spent eight years writing for agencies in Paris: car launches, banking apps, perfume campaigns. In 2019 he came home to Gien and started taking on the clients those agencies were too busy for, from Loire Valley wineries to e-commerce shops selling across Europe.

Our approach is simple. We interview you before we write, we draft in the language your reader thinks in, and we cut every sentence that doesn't earn its place. That's the sharp edge in the name.

Everything is delivered digitally, so clients in Lyon, Brussels and Montréal work with us exactly as our neighbours on the quai do: one call, one shared document, one fixed price in euros.

In our clients' own words

Rated 4.9 out of 5 across 96 reviews. We didn't edit these, promise.

We rewrote our product pages with Bastien before the spring season. Same photos, same prices, and our online plant orders were up by about a third.

★★★★★Camille LefèvreMarketing Manager, Les Jardins de Briare

I needed English copy for our bike tours that didn't sound translated. Élodie got the tone right on the first draft, which has never happened to me before.

★★★★★Julien MoreauFounder, Cycles Giennois

They asked more questions about our workshop than our previous agency did in two years. The about page finally sounds like us.

★★★★★Sophie GarnierOwner, Atelier Faïence & Co

Our welcome email sequence now pays for itself every month. Clear process, fixed price, delivered on the day they promised.
